Suburban Geriatrics and the 2016 Walk To End Alzheimer's

We had 46 people (and pets) join our team and participate in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™ on Saturday, November 12th at Citizen's Bank Park.

Since 1989 millions of Americans have participated in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. The is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease, the nation's sixth-leading cause of death.

Keep checking our site for more information about The Walk to End Alzheimer's 2017.

Join our team "Suburban Geriatrics" and walk with us.  Help us to meet our fundraising goal. If you are interested in walking with our team, please contact Alicia or Colleen in our office for more info. You can also check out the website for additional information.  http://act.alz.org/goto/suburbangeriatrics

Medical Aid Trip to Guatemala

This summer one of our Physician Assistants, Lindsay Spencer participated in a Medical Aid Trip to Guatemala. Lindsay worked with indigenous people in remote areas of the country providing medical care, medications and supplies to those with no access to any medical care. She has plans to return to the country next year to continue medical aid work and help with plans for a sustainable medical clinic in the Terra Blanca Mountain region of Guatemala. She would like to thank Suburban Geriatrics and Dr Pearlstein for support of the medical relief efforts along with the NCCPA PA Health Foundation who awarded her a grant to support the trip.
